So you'll see the laces here. You just undo this knot at the bottom and then go all the way up. Undo those.

You'll find that it's hooked just in the middle here. So you just need to undo this one.

And then it'll fold back against the wall pole under the valance, and clip on one of those there.

And you do the same the other side around to here.

So, bring them back to the centre and clip them to the hook here.

So, it goes through the back, through the eyelet. Then this one goes through the eyelet. And then you connect it through that one and pull down. You just do that all the way.

Peacock and Bow's step by step guide to creating a doorway in your pole and canvas marquee

Step one

In the bottom corner of the wall panel you will see a knot. Untie this and then undo the Dutch lacing all the way up the edge of the wall panel until you reach the top.

Step two

Lift the valance and you will see the rope at the top of the wall panel is hooked onto the canopy, unhook the rope.

Step three

Fold the wall panel inwards and around the wall pole.

Step four

Lift the valance and hook the wall panel to the canopy.

Step five

Repeat on the other side.

Step six

To close the doorway, unhook the wall panels and bring them back to the centre, then hook them to the canopy.

Step seven

Do up the Dutch lacing, starting from the top, bring the first loop through the first eyelet, then bring the second loop through the second eyelet and thread it through the first loop. Continue until you reach the bottom.

And, voila! You're ready to make your big entrance.
