A common concern people have when hiring a marquee is that it may be too cramped or too sparsely populated. Luxury wedding planners often recommend allowing at least 1.5 square meters per seated guest and 2.5 square meters per guest for standing receptions. We offer a range of different sized marquees that can accommodate from 30 to 260 plus guests. If you're holding an event for more people, you have the option to hire more of our marquees, which you can connect with our colonnade. We have a lot of experience providing marquees for events big and small, so we know exactly the right size for you. We also offer interactive 3D layouts and virtual walkthroughs to help you visualise the space.
We don't use the typical marquee linings that you often see at weddings and corporate events. The reason being that our marquees don't have any ugly metal frames that need to be hidden. Our pole and canvas marquees look stunning with and without embellishment, so the choice is yours. We can provide custom drapery, we offer a glorious hand sewn reveal curtain with ample folds of natural cotton canvas. When it comes to lighting, we can do it all; fairy lights, festoon lights, chandeliers, uplighters, even custom light projections, perfect for branding your marquee with your company or couple logo.

Most wedding bookings are made around a year in advance, although some have been made just a month in advance! It's best to book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. However, we'll always refer to you to our network of partners in the Will's Marquees family who will do their best to accommodate you.
Absolutely, when we meet you for a design consultation we'll make recommendations on how to optimise the marquee layout for flow and ambiance.
We know that guest numbers can change at the last minute, which is why we always aim to be flexible with our marquee set up. If numbers go up you have the option to add smaller structures to increase the space of a large tent, such as a pavilion tent, service tent or cloakroom.
Yes, Rooms can be created with our reveal curtains and all our marquees can be interconnected with colonnades. You can also have outdoor 'spill out' areas to make use of the external space.

We understand that you may have concerns about wind or rain affecting your marquee and your guest's experience. No need to worry about potential last-minute changes due to the weather, our marquees are designed with robust weatherproofing solutions and thanks to the unpredictable British climate, we have our wet weather plans down to a fine art.
Depending on the size of your marquee or marquees, we usually set up in one day. If your wedding or event is taking place in the grounds of a venue with timing restrictions, we're more than happy to work around them. We can also liaise with other vendors (caterers, florists, event planners) to coordinate and ensure a seamless setup without disrupting the event schedule.
As part of our service we include pre-event site surveys and venue coordination, ensuring a smooth set up process. Our marquees require fairly level ground, free from obstructions and overhead wires. However, if your dream marquee site is particularly hilly we can arrange to install a platform large enough to accommodate any marquee in our collection with the option to extend beyond the marquee to form an outdoor terrace or elevated viewing platform. Available as a polished wood deck or carpeted if preferred.
If your dream venue is in a remote location such as a private estate, countryside venue or picturesque meadow, no need to worry, we can handle all the logistics and restrictions to make it work. We provide generators to power your event and our luxury mobile bathrooms have their own water supply.
Yes you can. We can provide luxury bathroom units as well as quirky and aesthetically pleasing shepherds hut loos.
